    Head of Delivery (Midrand)

    Role Overview

    • RGS eInstants Technology, part of iLottery Technologies, Global Lottery, is looking for a Head of Delivery, responsible for Delivery team development and delivery of all RGS eInstants projects in North America and International.

    Responsibilities

    • Accountable for on track/budget/quality of delivery project portfolio
    • People management of Delivery team, including project managers, tech leads, integration developers, distributed across various locations
    • Manage escalation for all projects timely, working with other leads within RGS tech or other stakeholders in the Company
    • Liaise with commercial, service and customers directly in case of critical situations or escalation and lead resolution internally
    • Costing preparation and review for all delivery projects
    • Leading internal weekly calls with commercial team and other stakeholders to review portfolio of opportunities, prioritisations and ensure proper staffing and strategy to support portfolio roadmap
    • Internal resource management to support timelines and reduce TTM
    • Accountable for speed and quality of delivery project, and its stability of integration code in production
    • Accountable for integration solutions and governance, including documentation reviews
    • Lead internal documentation, knowledge transfer, onboarding of resources
    • Review constantly each project status, understand risks and lead teams to resolution as needed, report to senior management weekly on the status, escalate internally or to site teams as needed.
    • Work with other leads and senior management to improve delivery process for optimization and to minimise TTM.

    Skills

    • Strong program and project management experience in customer facing business critical integration
    • Experience leading in multicultural diverse and geographically spread organization
    • Experience in leading people
    • Strong experience dealing directly with senior client management up to C level and internal stakeholder management
    • Impeccable written and spoken English a must
    • Solid understanding of software development processes, cloud architectures, staging processes and software quality best practices
    • PMP certification strongly desirable
