Requirements
FMCG companies are increasingly looking for solutions that maximise their ability to tap into the ‘voice of the consumer’ whilst still being pragmatic and efficient to run. In parallel, we’re seeing a demand for ‘AI’ and a general shift in clients looking for more creative and tech-fuelled approaches.
Through partnerships and investment, we have (and continue to develop) a suite of approaches which will engage consumers in increasingly open and unstructured ways (e.g., conversational AI, harnessing web / social data, voice surveys, video etc.).
We are now looking to recruit a creative and resourceful individual to help us take these capabilities and our delivery to the next level.
What you and your team be doing:
Understand client briefs and identify the best digital qualitative approach (predominantly ad hoc research projects but with the opportunity to further enhance our continuous or multi-dip research capabilities)
Interact with tech platforms to set up and programme research
Analyse unstructured data, identifying themes, creating a story, and using data to bring to life results
Implement NLP and text analytic platforms to fully leverage the unstructured data we will increasingly have available – help to drive efficiency of analysis as well as quality of understanding of consumer priorities, attitudes and feedback
Engage with Account Teams to help feed in the story to wider research or presenting results directly to clients
Support our Global Qualiatitve teams with the design, running and analysis of online communities (short and long-term)
Help us to push the boundaries of what is possible in this space, working with MMR’s Method Excellence and Innovation Teams to accelerate new development and roll out of new approaches to showcase ‘the voice of the consumer’
Feed into the development of our own consumer platform to help MMR remain at the cutting edge and engage with consumers in increasingly creative ways
You know you’re right for this role if …
… you’re passionate about digital qual, unstructured data, bringing consumers to life, asking better questions and leveraging tech for better analysis etc. A natural leader, with the gravitas to establish and lead a new team plus manage interactions with the wider business (research team, qual team etc.) and clients where appropriate.

Working closely with our global Qualitative and Sensory Qual teams, researchers and method excellence and innovation team you’ll help build the innovation roadmap for MMR. By doing this you’ll allow us to capitalise on the growing client interest, demand for new approaches and more modern ways to engage with consumers as well as contributing to our growth and operational efficiency.
