Our client is a Cape Town based property investment company. They purchase land and develop buildings to market demands as well as redevelop and refurbish properties. Although they specialise in Industrial properties, they also have Retail and Commercial buildings that thy manage and maintain.
With a recent vacancy in their team, they are looking for a Head of Finance. In this role you will be reporting to the Managing Director and managing two Bookkeepers. As part of the office-based staff, you will only be required to work a 4-day week.
The successful incumbent will be responsible for Management Accounts, Debt management, forecasting and cashflow management. Other tasks such as managing service providers, analysing and reporting on financial performance, variance analysis, financial analysis, and risk management as well as financial modelling for acquisition will fall on to you.
To be considered for this role you will need:
An Accounting or Financial Degree
Minimum of 7 years Financial Management experience
Excellent knowledge of tax regulations and regulatory compliance
Experience in the Property industry is preferred
Exceptional knowledge of financial management principles and accounting practices
