Head of Finance at Salt South Africa

Overview:

• An exciting opportunity is available for a senior finance professional to take the lead on the finance function of an established business. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role will play an important part in shaping financial performance, strengthening controls and supporting key business decisions.
• This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who is comfortable operating at a senior level and taking full accountability for the financial health of the business.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Take overall ownership of the finance function and financial performance.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Oversee tax, treasury, cash flow and financial controls.
• Provide financial insight and modelling to support business decisions.
• Manage external audit and key financial relationships.
• Ensure strong financial governance and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and develop the finance team.

Requirements:

• Professional accounting qualification (CA(SA), ACCA or equivalent).
• 5+ years’ post-qualification experience.
• Proven senior financial management experience.
• Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge.
• Experience managing a full finance function.
• Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in betting, gaming or another regulated industry will be advantageous.
