Head of Finance at Snatch.work

• As the Head of Finance, you will be in charge of directing all finance-related operations and determining the financial strategy of the company.
• Your tasks will encompass overseeing the financial planning and budgeting, as well as evaluating the financial risk in investments. In close collaboration with the CEO and COO, you will be responsible for providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making and play a key role in discussions on business growth and expansion.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Overseeing all finance-related operations of the company and determining its financial strategy.
• Formulating and executing financial strategies that contribute to the growth of the company.
• Ensuring financial reporting and compliance with local laws and regulations, and advising the management team on financial matters.
• Lead and develop the finance team by providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations
• Managing the company's accounting and financial systems, including selecting and integrating new software.
• Building and sustaining relationships with key stakeholders such as investors, banks, and other external partners.
• Stay updated on relevant accounting and tax laws and regulations and ensure that the company is in compliance with all applicable laws.
• Take part in fundraising and investor relations initiatives and offer financial analysis and support to other departments such as sales and marketing to help them understand and manage their financial performance.

What You'll Need

• CA(SA) or CGMA designation
• 3 - 5+ years of post-article experience
• Previous experience in a managerial position
• Analytical mind and operationally orientated
• Prior experience in Cloud Accounting platforms like Xero
• Exceptional Excel skills
