This role is to create a consistent approach to key account management across SGCP Brands including Gyproc , Isover , Weber and abe in the Retail Sector so that our key customers recognize and value the consistent, efficient and effective coordinated approach.
Develop and lead a high performing Key Account team, with a focus on coaching, feedback and capability development
Adopt a balanced Construction Products approach to account management to:
Develop and implement with the Team our overall account strategy/plan, aligned with stakeholders internally and externally; priorities agreed; required resource clearly defined and confirmed as available.
Structure commercial agreements that drive profitable growth for both CPSA and our customers
Establish strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders across SGCP SSA to ensure that conflicting priorities can be managed with support and pace and without disruption.
Manage the account wiring such that we have the right people engaged in productive relationships across our customers and our businesses/functions, to avoid duplication
Identify the customers’ key priorities for us to improve our service / management of their account and champion internal projects to quickly improve on the current position.
Work closely with Marketing and Trade Marketing teams to implement measurable demand creation activities that demonstrate clear value to customers and are embedded within account plans.

The ideal candidate should hold a A Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree, preferably with a focus in Marketing, Business Management, or a related.A minimum of 5 years’ experience in key accounts role, with at least 2 years in team management. Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations. The ideal must be willing to travel nationally and demonstrated ability to develop, plan, and implement account plans that drive business growth. Effective stakeholder management and networking capabilities across internal and external environments is crucial for this role. High level of commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities and understand macro-economic drivers will set you apart. Successful candidate should have business growth mindset by demonstrating the ability to develop, plan, and implement account plans driven by business growth.
