    Head of Organisational Effectiveness

    Job Purpose

    • The role is responsible for driving the strategic initiatives that enhance organisational performance, employee engagement, and leadership development. This role will be instrumental in shaping a high-performance culture by ensuring alignment between organisational strategy, learning and development, and operational execution. It will lead efforts to optimise organizational design, process improvement, and foster an environment that attracts, develops, and retains top talent.
    • It will establish and execute McCain SAF’s OE approach and will be responsible for the development of the necessary tools, processes and resources to ensure efficient execution. The incumbent will make use of their knowledge of learning and development, process optimization, employee wellness, organization design, performance management and organizational development interventions to unlock efficiencies aimed at achieving the organisation’s objectives.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Organizational Design & Structure: Lead the design and optimization of the company’s structure to align with strategic goals, assess and improve reporting lines and team structures.
    • Leadership Development & Succession Planning: Develop leadership programs and succession frameworks, creating personalized development plans for high-potential employees.
    • Learning Strategy & Programme Development: Design and implement learning strategies, manage training programs, and evaluate their effectiveness, ensuring alignment with business needs.
    • Employee Engagement & Performance Management: Enhance employee engagement through performance management systems and targeted interventions.
    • BEE Strategy: Develop and execute a BEE strategy, ensuring compliance and alignment with corporate goals.
    • Learning Culture & Employee Engagement: Promote continuous learning within the organization, ensuring L&D programs align with employee development needs.
    • HR Budget Management: Manage the HR department’s budget, ensuring accurate tracking and financial resource allocation.

    Job Holder Requirements:

    Qualification

    • Degree in I/O Psychology, HR or related field
    • Skills Development Facilitator course (advantageous)
    • Skills Development Facilitator

    Experience

    • 10 years’ experience, from which
    • 5 years’ experience in HR
    • 3 years’ experience in Organisational Development
    • 2 years’ experience in L&D and EE/BBBEE
