Head of Process Engineering at Alexander Forbes

As part of Alexander Forbes’s transformation and change strategy, we are looking for a business minded Head of Engineering who will play a key role in directing and executing our Services strategy aimed to build an effective and efficient operations team for Alexander Forbes. The successful incumbent will report to the Head of Operations. The overall mandate is to devise, implement and maintain an engineering strategy and framework that is aligned to ensuring that the short and long term strategic initiatives of the Group are met. This relates to all business and operative processes, across all areas of the Group.

Minimum Requirements

Education and Experience

• Relevant graduate degree
• Business Management degree would be advantageous
• Minimum 10 years Financial Services experience

Business understanding

• Continuously enhancing and keeping abreast of industry and customer trends
• Ability to develop strategic relationships with key internal and external clients
• Understanding the triggers to be leveraged to increase efficiencies
• Lead, guide and support the people within division
• Develop and maintain desired organisational culture

Knowledge and skills

• Good understanding of business processes across the Financial Services industry
• Ability to identify process downfalls and find innovative, alternative solutions
• Good understanding of engineering principals of design, data, digital, agile and lean ways of work
• Ability to manage large projects from end to end, in relation to re-engineering, implementation and change management
