    Head of Sales

    • A fast-moving YouTube sponsorship agency is changing the way creators and brands connect. Operating in a high-growth niche within the advertising and marketing space, this fully remote business sits at the intersection of creator culture and brand strategy. The team is lean, sharp, and scaling fast, with a 2026 revenue target that demands serious sales firepower.
    • This is the role that builds the engine. As Head of Sales, the successful candidate will own new business development end to end, recruiting top YouTubers into the creator network and bringing in the brands hungry to reach them. This is not a management role that floats above the work. It is a builder role, hands in the clay, running sequences, owning the CRM, leading calls, and eventually growing a team underneath. The person who thrives here watches their own call recordings on a Friday afternoon not because someone told them to, but because getting better is just how they operate.

    Minimum Requirements

    • 5 or more years of sales experience within a startup, high-growth, or agency environment, not a large corporate.
    • Proven experience working remotely with US-based companies.
    • Hands-on experience with outbound sales tools such as Clay, Apollo, Lemlist, EmailBison, or similar.
    • Proficiency with a CRM platform such as HubSpot or Close, alongside Google Sheets and AI call recording tools.
    • A data-driven mindset with the ability to analyse funnel performance and act on what the numbers are telling you.
    • Familiarity with the YouTube or creator economy, or a genuine drive to immerse yourself in it.
    • Strong written and spoken English communication skills with the ability to present professionally to a US-based audience.
    • Availability to work 9am to 5:30pm EST, which translates to approximately 3pm to 11:30pm South African time. This is non-negotiable and candidates must be fully comfortable with these hours before applying.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Build and run automated outbound campaigns targeting both YouTube creators and brand sponsors across email, LinkedIn, Instagram, and webforms.
    • Own and maintain a clean, accurate CRM with full visibility across every stage of the pipeline.
    • Analyse funnel data obsessively, identifying where leads drop off and continuously improving conversion at every step.
    • Lead discovery and sales calls with creators and sponsors, preparing thoroughly for every conversation.
    • Develop SOPs, sales playbooks, and process documentation in Notion to build a scalable, repeatable system.
    • Collaborate closely with the internal development team to run and improve the custom creator outreach technology.
    • Scale outbound volume progressively from campaign launch through to 2,000 creator outbounds per week and 10 or more sponsor calls per week within six months.
    • Recruit, onboard, and manage an SDR once the new business system is fully operational and documented.
    • Report directly to the CEO and take ownership of new business performance against ambitious growth targets.
