Head of Technology Operations at Weaver Fintech Ltd

Job Description

• Are you a senior technology operations leader who doesn't just run infrastructure — you rethink it? Weaver Fintech is looking for a Head of Technology Operations to own and evolve the infrastructure, security, and operational backbone of a fast-growing fintech, and to bring an AI-forward, boundary-pushing mindset to everything you build.

What you'll own

• The stability and resilience of our on-premises server and network infrastructure
• Security operations — access management, endpoint security, threat response, and compliance
• The IT Service Desk and End User Computing function — including SLAs, standards, and team performance
• IT governance, vendor management, and audit relationships
• Disaster recovery capability and infrastructure incident management
• A growing TechOps team (SecOps Manager, Network/Server engineer, EUC technicians)
• The AI and automation agenda within TechOps — identifying and implementing smarter ways to operate

What we're looking for

• 8–12 years in technology operations or IT infrastructure, with 3–5 years leading teams
• Strong on-premises infrastructure expertise — servers, networking, security
• An AI-forward mindset — you actively use AI tools and can show us how
• An innovator who challenges convention and brings ideas, not just answers
• A governance mindset: you design frameworks, write policy, and stay audit-ready
• Experience in a regulated or financial services environment (advantageous)
• ITIL certified; security certifications (CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+) preferred
