Job Description

PROPOSED KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• The key accountabilities include: Supporting the Group in defining a compelling Group-wide strategic ambition and clear roadmap. This means orchestrating the overall strategy development process with the BU’s, setting the cadence and milestones and then constructively challenging plans and numbers.
• Ensuring that the CSSO and Exec Management Team are well informed and updated on research and analysis related to industry and competitive trends. Recommending strategic priorities and key themes to the CSSO.
• Strategic balance sheet management, which includes: clarifying resource allocation and key constraints, synchronizing strategic options and balance sheet implications, as well as the ability to assess the overall business portfolio performance versus the strategic ambition.
• Leading special projects on the Groups agenda.
• The Head of Strategic Planning needs to, through strong interpersonal and leadership skills not only steer the business analytically but also build rapport amongst BU Exec’s

Education

• Postgraduate Degrees and Professional Qualifications: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
