Health, Safety and Environmental Officer at Ann Swann Personnel Services

Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain the company's HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks and develop corrective actions to address them.
• Provide training and guidance to all employees on HSE policies and procedures.
• Maintain and update all necessary records and documentation related to HSE compliance.
• Investigate all incidents and accidents, and make recommendations for corrective actions.
• Assist with the development of emergency response plans and procedures.
• Conduct regular meetings with employees to discuss HSE issues and promote a culture of safety.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all relevant HSE regulations and ensure compliance with them.
• Participate in external audits and inspections as required.

 
Qualifications:

• Degree/Diploma in a relevant field such as environmental science, occupational health and safety, or engineering.
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• In-depth knowledge of relevant HSE regulations and legislation.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant HSE certifications are an asset.
