Homeschool Teacher | Brooklyn/Waterkloof | R16 500 - R20 000 at Au Pair Extraordinaire

• Area: Brooklyn/Waterkloof
• Child’s Age: Boy – 12 years old (Dyslexic)
• Working hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 16:30 (candidate to remain available full day, but most likely finishing at 14:00 on most days)
• Duties: Teach and support a 12-year-old homeschool learner across all core subjects, plan lessons and learning objectives, adapt teaching methods to suit the learner's pace and dyslexia-related needs, monitor academic progress and provide support where needed, prepare assessments and revision schedules, encourage independent learning, confidence, critical thinking, and personal growth, create a calm and structured learning environment, provide mentorship and guidance, attend educational outings, and assist with transport to sports and extramural activities when required.
• Special Requirements: English HL speaker and fluent in Afrikaans (must be able to teach both languages), female, 30+ preferred, teaching qualification and/or educational background, previous homeschool experience, dependable with excellent attendance, emotionally mature, adaptable, warm but structured, confident yet approachable, highly organised, able to work independently, passionate about education and student development, comfortable working in a non-social environment, and seeking a long-term commitment (minimum 2-5 years, non-negotiable).

• Salary: R16 500 – R18 000 per month (for a student teacher/experienced Tutor). R18 000 - R20 000 per month (for a qualified teacher). Plus SARS Rates per km

All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:

• Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
• Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
• Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
• Must have a clear criminal record
• Must have a passion for children
• Must have Matric
• Must have a South African ID document.
