Job Description

• Our client is seeking an experienced and commercially driven Hotel General Manager / Managing Director to lead overall hotel operations, business performance and strategic growth across a luxury hospitality environment.
• The successful candidate will be a senior leader with a strong track record in luxury or 5-star hotel management, operational excellence, financial management and team leadership. This position requires an individual who can take full ownership of business performance while maintaining exceptional guest experience and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall operations and performance of the hotel.
• Develop and implement strategic and operational business plans.
• Drive revenue growth, profitability and operational efficiency.
• Manage budgets, financial performance and cost control.
• Lead, mentor and develop senior management and operational teams.
• Ensure consistently high luxury and 5-star service standards.
• Manage guest experience and customer satisfaction.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Oversee property maintenance, facilities and operational standards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies and industry standards.
• Identify opportunities for business growth and continuous improvement.
• Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions where required.
• Manage suppliers, contractors and strategic business partners.
• Ensure effective risk management and operational controls.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Operations Management, Property Management or a related discipline.
• 8–10+ years' experience in property or operations management.
• At least 5 years' experience in a senior leadership position.
• Luxury / 5-star hotel management experience is essential.
• Proven experience managing complex or multi-site operations.
• Strong financial and commercial management experience.
• Proven experience managing operational budgets and business performance.
• Strong leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
