Responsible for maintaining housekeeping in the facility - Monitor equipment and report malfunctions to the Supervisor
Record daily filling operations on a Production Record sheet and maintaining adequate stock of gasses and test dates for cylinder repairs
Adhere to food safety prerequisite programmes (PRPs), SOP's and the food safety management system to meet customer and product specifications of food grade gasses
Ensure that scales, pressure gauges, infra-red thermometers are calibrated and verified
Ensure empties are moved to empty platforms for filling, in pallets / baskets and the faulty cylinders to be investigated and sent to the repair station once pre-filling checks have been carried out
Responsible for sorting cylinders according to correct gas types, filling of cylinders according to the appropriate gasses and are moved to the correct allocated area for loading
