• Human Anatomy Physiology and Disease (Theory & Practical)
• Clinical Chemistry II & III (Pharmacology)
• Histology I (Theory & Practical – registered with HPCSA)
• Cytogenetics (Theory & Practical)
• Immunohematology (Practical – registered with HPCSA)
• Haematology I, II and III (Theory & Practical – registered with HPCSA)
• Clinical Chemistry I, II & III (Theory & Practical – registered with HPCSA)
• Cell Biology (Theory & Practical)
• Medical Microbiology IV (– registered with HPCSA)
• Immunology (Practical)
• The format of lectures can be expected to be face-to-face, via remote teaching, or a combination/hybrid format. Facilitation and assessment formats will be subject to change on short notice.
• Lecturers will be expected to have their own laptop computer.
• Successful applicants will be required to lecture on the relevant CUT campus and will be required to be available at
• The assigned subject’s scheduled class hours, which may include work in the evening.

Minimum and Desired Qualification/ Knowledge and/or Experience             

• An appropriate B Tech / Honours, Master’s or Doctorate degree (depending on the level of presentation)
• Previous lecturing experience will serve as a recommendation.
• Experience with electronic education (Blackboard) is recommended.
• Registered with the HPCSA in the relevant discipline of practice as a medical technologist or medical laboratory scientist (except for Human Anatomy Physiology and Disease)
