    HSE Manager

    As a the HSE manager, excellent attention to detail and observations skills are essential and is required to present hazard identification and risk mitigation skills in addition to the ongoing search for opportunities for improving conditions and execute various environmental, health and safety programs. The ability to communicate and activate the EHS systems and process to a multidisciplinary workforce is essential.

    The EHS manager is to ensure the establishment, implementation, and maintenance of all HSE programs to ensure regulatory, statutory and customer/consumer compliance. Including ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications and supporting of the ISO 9001 Quality Management System to ensure an effective and functioning integrated management system

    MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES / TASKS

    • Actively participate to the HSE network of the Category (annual meeting, benchmarking, expertise sharing)
    • Assist with the development and implementation of waste/energy use minimization opportunities in conjunction with manufacturing and consumer departments
    • Collect, analyze, and track performance KPIs for continuous improvement and corporate reporting
    • Conduct the job hazard evaluations and industrial hygiene surveys to assess employee health and safety risks and develop and implement appropriate improvement plans with
    • Define and implement a yearly HSE communication plan
    • Deliver and effective emergency planning and response programme
    • Deliver and effective incident investigation programme including comprehensive root-cause analysis and corrective and preventive action
    • Establish, implement, and review annual internal audit programme
    • Evaluating practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risk and adherence to the needs and expectation of the interested parties
    • Maintain HSE annual training matrix and schedule and ensure compliance
    • Maintain HSE NCR programme to deliver effective root cause analysis and sustainable corrective and preventative action.
    • Maintain plant-level HSE regulatory compliance by monitoring the requirements of all interested parties (Needs and expectations) and by establishing the management processes of regulatory compliance programs for air, water (water use permits), waste, hazardous substances, and employee safety
    • Maintain the HSE Management System, including ISO 14001 and ISO 45 001 requirements
    • Perform the environmental analysis to assess environmental significant impacts and develop and implement appropriate improvement plans

    • Corporate KPIs for Environment and Health & Safety
    • Plant-level KPIs for safety performance, risks, incidents, training, employee feedback
    • Regulatory requirements and deadlines
    • Annual ISO certification

    Qualifications

    • B.S. degree in HSE. Other relevant degrees are acceptable depending on candidate qualifications.
    • Ability to work with all levels within the organization
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving,
    • Excellent motivational, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
    • Good knowledge of environmental and safety regulations
    • Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment
    • Proactive, self-motivated, hands-on style
    • Proven experience as safety manager
    • Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office
    • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
    • English: CEFR level B2 required
