    Account Executive

    The Role

    • Service the Client base that will be allocated, identify areas of cross selling and develop also new avenues of revenue with new Clients
    • Actively support and develop the Business Unit to deliver required growth and achieve agreed business targets
    • Actively drive the sales process in relation to winning, retaining and developing profitable clients
    • Development and ongoing servicing of the production pipeline for the BU, covering existing clients and new business
    • Support the overall operational governance and decision making process for the Business Unit

    • Lead and deliver the end to end ongoing client service, adhering to standardised policies, procedures and service standards

    Qualifications
    The Requirements:

    • Proven track record in client relationship management and revenue generation (5–10 years of experience)
    • Grade 12, Regulatory Examination (RE5), and a Business degree or NQF Level 6 (FSB-recognised qualification)
    • Ability to influence colleagues and senior leaders in a global environment
    • Strong negotiation skills and confidence in making business-critical decisions
    • Ability to assess customer risk profiles and provide informed advice

    New Business Development Consultant

    The Role

    • The New Business Development Consultant is responsible for identifying prospective opportunities, developing customer relationships, implementing WTW South Africa’s marketing and sales plan and fostering the growth of the sales and marketing team.
    • To drive new business through marketing campaigns, strategic networking events, and client roundtables. Manage prospect tracking, growth and strategy with CRB Leader, Operational Leaders, Production Team and Client Service Teams. Collaborate with Operational Leaders in the management of pipeline forecasting for the market.
    • Establish sufficient prospective opportunities to meet strategic business plans.
    • Detailed knowledge of all prospective and new customer relationships to facilitate and maintain business growth and profitability.
    • Develop annual sales plan for input into the annual business plan.

    • Maintain an accurate pipeline forecast incorporating revenue recognition protocols from finance.

    Business Development Consultant

    The Role

    • The Business Development Consultant is responsible for supporting the identification of prospective opportunities, assisting with the development of customer relationships, and supporting the implementation of WTW South Africa’s marketing and sales plan, while contributing to the sales and marketing team.

    Casualty Placement Broker

    CASUALTY PLACEMENT BROKER 

    • The successful candidate will, in the main, be responsible for a book of corporate Casualty business and perform the following activities:
    • Participate in new business sales and in Request for Proposals (RFP’s).
    • Ensure exceptional service delivery aligned with corporate standards and client expectations.
    • Be the strategic technical advisor on Liability insurance and other classes of Casualty cover, to clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Contribute to the retention of the WTW client base by challenging the status quo and providing superior placement solutions.
    • Participate in internal strategy and pre-renewal meetings to strategize on the renewal of the insurance portfolio. 
    • Analyze client risk profile, conduct a needs analysis, review the claims data, review uninsured risks and recommend tailored insurance solutions.
    • Identify & select appropriate insurance Carriers based on a thorough understanding of local market cycles, appetite & capacity.
    • Prepare and ensure accuracy of quote slips.
    • Negotiate terms with insurers so that WTW have the very best terms, cover and structure for the client.
    • Analyze and compare market quotes.
    • Prepare renewal terms presentation with options taking care to note any conditions or subjectivities. Where required present renewal terms to the client and be able to explain and talk through the options and provide client with your recommendation.
    • Bind cover with markets once client firm order is received.
    • Collect / issue policy documentation and submit to clients within 30 days of inception / renewal.
    • Contribute to process improvements and effective utilization of IT systems.
    • Monitor claims and assist claims handler with contentious or repudiated claims.
    • Ensure compliance with WTW standards & procedures and external compliance regulations.
    • Must practice WTW Values i.e., Integrity, Respect, Excellence and Teamwork.

    Responsibilities

    The Requirements 

    • Minimum 5 years as a corporate liability broker or underwriter.
    • FAIS compliant: RE5 as well as 120 credits at NQF level 5 (or relevant degree) Regulatory accreditation (e.g., FAIS in South Africa or equivalent) and be up to date with CPD hours. 
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
    • Proven experience managing insurance for corporate Liability programmes.
    • Demonstrate the ability to explain Broad Form Liability insurance coverage and its nuanced aspects.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
    • Must have critical thinking skills.
    • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
    • A focus on customer service and key deliverables is essential.
    • Be detail orientated, strong with time management and organizational skills
