    HSEQ Lead

    Who are you

    What you will be doing

    • Business planning development of expenditure forecasts for Safety and Environmental services
    • Support initiatives that promote cost optimization and avoid excessive expense. 
    • Review audits and feedback and facilitate alignment with management and ensure development of risks mitigation and closure of the findings to ensure compliance and risk controls
    • Build and maintain good risk management through identification of potential risk area and incorporate in business-based improvement programmes through implementation and management of HSE critical controls including appropriate programmes) and effectively assured
    • Provide input into development and updating of the Transition Team’s Safety, PSM and Environmental services business risk profile
    • Ensure proactive business risk identification and management of risk treatment strategy and reporting
    • Engage the relevant teams on any deviations related to work practices or contractor performance evaluations that are not aligned with Engen-wide CHSEQ standards
    • Engage with various internal divisions to deliver services and act as an ambassador to Engen HSEQ culture, strategies and initiatives

    What have you done before

    • NQF Level 7 (Degree in Engineering/ Science/ Safety Management or related)
    • 8 year’s experience in Engineering, HSEQ/ Process Safety or Environmental with knowledge of relevant PTS, Quality Management System and Statutory requirements
    • Knowledge of national safety (OHS Act) and environmental standards and practices
