    Human Capital Coordinator

    About the Job
    The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years HR experience. Expert knowledge of BCEA, LRA, SDA, Skills Development Levies Act, and the EE act is essential. Mining Industry related experience is essential. Experience in the formulation and implementation of HR policies, procedures and legislation, job grading, recruitment and performance management system is necessary. Possess advanced Excel skills. The candidate will be responsible for talent management, performance reviews, compensation management and employee relations management.
    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the day to day operational HC management and administration of the company.
    • Development and maintenance of human capital policies and procedures.
    • Manage employee relations and Industrial relations.
    • Provide prompt and accurate support to employees and managers with Human Capital related queries.
    • Ensure compliance to legal, statutory and regulatory compliance.
    • Ensuring compliance with the company’s code of conduct and procedures.
    • Identify appropriate training interventions for staff, participate in skills development initiatives to build capability within members of the company.
    • Identify skills gaps, liaise with training team and Head of HC to implement training initiatives Resourcing and Talent Management.
    • Coordinate the timeous submission of performance contracts.
    • Ensure that the interim performance reviews are conducted according to the performance management policy.
    • Maintaining and management of performance management system.
    • Facilitates disciplinary cases to be handled fairly and promptly.
    • Ensure that grievances are managed and resolved amicably.
    • Provides advice and support to line management
    • Produce and deliver standard and customized HC reports as required.
    • Respond to HC data requests on an ad hoc basis by gathering, analyzing, and reporting relevant data from various sources.
    • Provide on-time and reliable HC information, data as well as relevant management reports to facilitate appropriate business decisions.
    • Familiarity with HC operations including hiring, payroll and employee benefits.
    • To support the Senior HC Manager and other Executives with the talent acquisition process activities.
    • Human capital planning, recruitment, selection and placements.
    • Conduct all applicable background checks, salary benchmarking for positions and prepare offer letters.
    • Co-ordinate induction and onboarding of new employees.
    • Manage timeous exit process for terminations.
    • Represent the company at the CCMA when required.
