    Human Resource Officer - Klerksdorp Hospitals

    Main Focus Areas

    • The Human Resource Officer is responsible for the provision of support to the HR Manager and Line Managers in the execution of human resource related activities.  The incumbent will further be required to participate as a credible business partner by developing human resources solutions that add value to the business units' core strategic focus areas.

    Key Performance Areas: (include but are not limited to)

    • Labour Relations (Discipline, Union related matters, Grievances).​
    • Skills Development and Talent Management.​
    • Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding, including the facilitation of Employment Equity in the workplace.​
    • Performance Management.​
    • Employee Benefits and Human Resource Administration.​
    • Systems Management: Time and Attendance.​
    • HR related payroll administration.​
    • HR reporting.

    Post Requirements: (include but are not limited to)

    • A Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management or an equivalent NQF level 7 qualification.​
    • Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).​
    • Ability to travel..​
    • Valid driver's license and own transport will be preferable.​
    • At least 1 - 3 years HR experience will be an advantage.​
    • Experience related to the management of HR related payroll administration will be a great advantage.​
    • Experience and knowledge related to the administration of a timekeeping system, preferably Kronos would be a great advantage as well as the experience to manage the timekeeping of staff.​
    • Knowledge of the application of wellness in the workplace will be beneficial.​
    • Excellent communication, time management, attention to detail, interpersonal relations and organizational skills are essential.​
    • Good understanding and knowledge of Labour Legislation and of Policies and Procedures, as well as the application thereof.​
    • Ability to work independent, under pressure, to write reports and to deal with confidential information.​
    • Previous experience working with a diverse group of people and Unions will be beneficial.​
    • Experience within a hospital environment and working with HR systems, especially SAGE will be beneficial.
