Human Resources Business Partner - Johannesburg at Grant Thornton South Africa

Job Purpose:
The purpose of this job is to serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, administering contracts and help to resolve work-related problems. The Talent Acquisition Consultant will assist the HR Department to:

• Execute operational requirements of the business.
• Recruit and select experienced staff for SNG and its clients.
• Manage disciplinary and industrial relations issues, including investigations.
• Give support and guidance to business unit leaders regarding recruitment, selection and appointments.
• Also assist business with Human Resources Generalist functions, i.e. performance, grading, learning and development, and other HR related duties.

Minimum Qualification:

• 3 year National Diploma/Degree in HR or related qualifications
• Very strong in team leadership/team player
• Good knowledge of IR processes
• Additional training in Managing disciplinary hearings, Conflict management, Performance management, Rewards and benefits advantageous.
• Willing to travel as and when required

Minimum Experience:

• 8 years of experience in Human Resources
• 4 years sound experience in performance and IR at a corporate level
• Excellent skill in relationship building
• Understanding of applicable Legislations, i.e. LRA, EEA, BCEA, etc.
• Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
• Presentation skills experience at all levels
