    Human Resources Officer (FTC)

    Role purpose

    • By supporting HR processes, employee relations, and talent management, this position ensures that organisational goals are met.
    • Role contribution to organisational strategy
    • Aligned with Astral's focus on investing in people, the HR Officer plays a crucial role in talent development and retention. This role ensures alignment with strategic goals through effective communication, accountability, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role ultimately supports Astral's long-term growth and operational excellence.

    Role Responsibilities

    • Coordinate recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes to enhance talent acquisition.
    • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases to ensure compliance and efficiency.
    • Support performance management and training initiatives to drive employee development.
    • Provide guidance to employees on HR-related matters to improve engagement.
    • Assist in payroll preparation and benefits administration to ensure accurate compensation.
    • Monitor employment equity targets in recruitment and selection

    Role Requirements
    Qualifications

    Minimum Requirements    Advantageous Qualifications

    • Bachelor's in Human Resources
    • Certification in HR Management
    • Registered with the SABPP

    Experience
    Minimum Requirements   

    • Total Minimum Years Work Experience | 3 Years
    • Minimum Years Experience in Human Resources & Recruitment | 4 Years
    • Minimum Experience Working in Agriculture & FMCG | 1 Years
