    Human Resources Officer

    Job Summary

    The position's main focus will be the bulk recruitment of various and mostly blue-collar positions with additional HR generalist and administrative duties.

    Key aspects of the Job

    • Advertising of vacant positions- both Internal & external;
    • Facilitating various pre-interview assessments & pre-appointment checks;
    • Facilitate interviews and conduct competency-based interviews;
    • Recruitment administration;
    • Facilitate employee induction;
    • Oversee and manage the Health & Safety committee and ensure the company meets set legal compliance criteria;
    • Various HR Administrative tasks

    Minimum application requirements

    • Clean Criminal Record;
    • Grade 12 Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4);
    • At least a 3-year formal HR qualification at NQF level 7 from a reputable tertiary institution- Preferably a BA/BCom degree in HR Management/Organisational Psychology with preferably Honours at a NQF Level 8;
    • Ideally registered with SABPP
    • 1 to 2 years solid recruitment experience and knowledge of the recruitment cycle;
    • Knowledge of Labour Law;
    • Fluent (Verbally & Written) in English (Preferably also in a second official language - Afrikaans/IsiXhosa);
    • Competent in the basic use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Office;
    • Own reliable transport and Valid Driver's Licence

    Remuneration & Benefits:

    • Up to R15 000 per month cost to company dependent on relevant work experience and formal qualification(s);
    • Provident Fund - Equal company contribution
