IAM Specialist (Cape Town - Office Based) at Media24 (Pty) Ltd

Role Overview

• The IAM Specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing identity and access management solutions across the enterprise. This role ensures secure, compliant, and efficient access to systems while supporting digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and enforce role-based and attribute-based access control models.
• Manage user provisioning, de-provisioning, and lifecycle management across enterprise applications.
• Implement segregation of duties (SoD) and compliance controls.
• Support single sign-on (SSO) and multi-factor authentication (MFA) across systems.
• Conduct regular audits of user access and roles to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
• Collaborate with audit, risk and governance teams to remediate findings.
• Provide support for IAM-related incidents and requests.
• Develop and maintain documentation, including procedures, and training materials.
• Monitor emerging IAM technologies and recommend enhancements.
• Drive automation initiatives for identity lifecycle management.

Required Qualifications

• BSc Honours in Information Technology or similar
• 5+ years of experience in IAM roles
• Strong knowledge of IAM platforms
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks
• Hands-on experience with SSO, MFA

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud IAM in hybrid environments
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA cloud, public edition advantageous
• Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) controls and mitigation is highly relevant
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
