    IFRS17 Project Administrator: Group Finance

    What will you do?
    Under limited supervision, provides key support for functional groups, including performance of a wide variety of specialised clerical functions involving compiling and arranging data, making computations, laying out and preparing reports, processing and coding documents and maintaining specialised and comprehensive records and filing. Sets up and prepares statistical reports. Resolves discrepancies and may communicate with a variety of administrative and professional employees within and outside the company.
    The Project Administrator provides a service to the Programme to ensure project support to the individual projects within the Programme, as well as support to the PMO. This primary role is to work with the project teams to record progress against plan (on Jira and MS Project), ensuring that deliverables are taken through the required governance process and ultimately filed in the Programme’s SharePoint repository.

    What will make you successful in this role?

    • Project Progress monitoring - Collaboratively reflect progress against project plans with stakeholders on Jira and MS Project, highlighting risks and blockers to Programme Management.
    • Project Stakeholder List - Collaboratively maintain Programme Stakeholder List with the Programme’s Change Management team
    • Progress Reporting - Provide support to the PMO on Progress Reports to governance structures, such as the Programme Steering Committee
    • Deliverables - harvest and file Project deliverables on SharePoint, and carry out regular quality checks on the Sharepoint environment to ensure compliance with Programme standards
    • Manage project finances - Assist PMO in the management of actual, budget and forecast costs.
    • Maintain project tools - Collaborate with GTI or other service providers to support bugs or enhancements to Jira, Sharepoint or other PMO tools

    Knowledge And Skills

    • Processing transactions and conduct simple calculations
    • Record keeping; filing and maintenance of databases

    • Procedures Knowledge

    Qualifications, Experience And Additional Knowledge

    • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in project management or comparable tertiary level qualification.
    • At least 5 years relevant project management experience.
    • Demonstrable experience with Jira, or similar project management systems
    • Demonstrable experience of MS Project.
    • Demonstrable experience with MS Sharepoint, of similar content management systems
    • Demonstrable Intermediate level skills in MS Word, including work with sections, creating templates, using styles, and customize them; Creating and formatting complex tables, and manage table data; Inserting graphic elements in MS Excel, MS Powerpoint and MS Word
    • Demonstrable Intermediate skills in MS Excel, including filtering data and managing a filtered list; performing multiple-level sorting, use sorting options and design considerations; use mathematical, logical, and financial functions; work with data and perform interactive analysis; and work with Pivot tables
    • Intermediate MS Powerpoint skills.
