In-House Controller at Aramex South Africa

Purpose of the Job

• Facilitating the morning and afternoon shift, ensuring that deliveries and collections are processed. This requires the handling of deliveries and pickup of consignments in a safe and professional manner in accordance with company service standards to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction. This role requires coordinating with the dispatcher and the express / domestic operations Team Leader / Supervisor.

Job Description
Job Requirements - Experience and Education

• Physical work involved (loading of boxes etc.)
• Daily running of both the Operational and Admin responsibilities of the In-house site
• Excel experience
• Responsible for all the staff working at the In-house site, or any other site linked to the client i.e. all leave requirements and forms, uniforms etc.
• Manage and assist with all queries re clientfs consignments, following up with the Aramex office, and also the appointed Accounts Manager
• Ensure that staff abides with all the rules and regulations as laid down by the client
• Ensuring that staff follow the Disciplinary Rules and Guidelines of Aramex as published in the employee handbook
• Daily liaison with Operations is absolutely critical in the smooth running of an In-house operation, thus commitment to comunicating daily with them, will ensure that the Service to the client is delivered.

Minimum Requirements 

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Must have a valid Code 10 (C1) Drivers License with PrDp
• Must have at least 2 years experience in the logistics and or/operations team
• Local knowledge of areas and neighborhood
