Inbound Clerk at Mars

Job Description:

The purpose of this job is to be able to execute and support the inbound raw material and packaging process at the CAP site and ensure the process is diligently followed as per MARS procedure. The inbound clerk will be the supporting contact for all stakeholders (strategic sourcing, commercial operations, planning, quality and finance) and will support to improve MARS operational & MARS warehouse standards in the work area.

What are we looking for?

• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a warehouse environment.
• Heavy machinery licensed (Forklift and Far Reach Truck)
• Daily report writing from data drawn from SAP and PDLS (Support when needed)
• Ability to identify deviations to process & product standard and escalate as required.
• Time management to ensure all goods received are processed within 24 hours of receipt
• Team player and excellent collaborator
• Planning & prioritizing of work of the Inbound team on a day-day basis. (Support when needed)

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Communication with various stakeholders (When Needed)
• Systems knowledge (ATLAS SAP, PDLS) and digitally savvy (Android Tablet)
• Competent in the financial Goods Receipt process
• Workplace Transport knowledge standard application.
• Strong collaborator and builder of relationships.

• Gatekeeper for conforming product to the factory.
• Drive to deliver consistent results and reach daily target.
• Customer focused and output driven.
• Adherence to inbound sampling procedure.
• Strong knowledge of MARS WPT Standard.
• Allergen storage requirements.
