Description

• Ecowize is looking for a skilled and competent Inbound/Outbound Controller that will play a critical role in overseeing and managing raw materials stock, which includes receiving, issuing and dispatching of waw materials and finished goods. The successful incumbent will also be responsible for ensuring that the manufacturing and handling of raw materials is done efficiently.
• Key tasks will include controlling the movement of raw materials and finished goods and ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards. The Inbound outbound Controller will also be responsible for handling administrative duties such regular stock counts and reporting of stock variances to the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive raw materials from suppliers ensuring, correct quantities are received in collaboration with the procurement and quality team.
• Maintain accurate and organized inventory levels and storage.
• Take into account storage conditions, accessibility and product life span and ensure stock management principles are applied to reduce redundant and expired stock.
• Maintain a detailed filing system on COA.s, TDS and SDS for all inventory items and enforcing GMP's while conduct themselves in a manner conducive with manufacturing safety practices
• Ensure correct warehousing and storage techniques are adhered to, considering and following health and safety standards and focus on continuous development and improvement.
• Ensure raw material stock availability on the production line when required and responsible for accurate weighing of batch packs according to BOM.
• Responsible for ensuring that housekeeping is performed and ensuring that all products and activities are stored and are executed within the demarcated areas according to the housekeeping policy.

Requirements

• Grade 12
• Relevant qualification in Operations/Quality management will be advantageous
• Previous experience working as a Raw materials Controller/ inventory controller.
• Previous background in handling and storage of dangerous goods
• Knowledge of the Chemical or manufacturing industry
• Knowledge of Quality management system requirements (ISO 9001)
• Previous experience in stock management
• Valid Driver’s license
