Industrial Engineer at TFG (The Foschini Group)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, self-motivated, and driven individual to join the TFG Design & Manufacturing team.  The successful candidate will be responsible for the effective implementation of lead time improvement projects, facilitate the implementation of digitization roadmap, and implementing process changes required to continuously support business growth.

Responsibilities:

• Implementation of lead time improvement initiatives in line with the 3 years lead time improvement plan
• Work with Infotec to ensure successful implementation of strategic systems projects such as Manufacturing Execution System, Enterprise Resource Planning for Prestige, End-to-end Planning, Supplier Pick & Pack, QC Digitisation, etc.
• Facilitate business process mapping initiatives to identify process improvement opportunities and implement appropriate solutions
• Work with business analysts to gather functional and reports requirements for systems implementation projects
• Provide change management (hard and soft) required to support process improvement initiatives
• Determine business process automation needs and facilitate the implementation
• Project managing business change initiatives as and when required.

Requirements:

• B Tech Degree Industrial Engineering or Equivalent Qualification.
• Lean Six Sigma Certification desirable
• Experience in Clothing Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or similar/ related environment
• Experience of more than 5 years in a similar role
