Information Technology Manager at Savino Del Bene

Savino Del Bene is looking for a Information Technology Manager to guide the Technology and Software Development team in its South African subsidiary.

Reporting to the CFO, the ideal candidate will have a wealth of experience in maintaining the organisations effectiveness and efficiency by defining and delivering strategic plans for implementing information technologies tackling various hardware and software problems. He/She should provide a professional Business Improvement and Analytical service focusing on client and contractual obligations.

Main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Strategy - Providing strategic input and planning for the IT department
• Monitoring departmental activities to ensure the strategic plan is implemented effectively
• People Management - Lead a team of Software Developers
• Budget Management
• Providing technology solutions to Technology and Software Development team
• Being the contact point with third party software companies to adopt new technologies and use efficiently the existing ones
• Management of IT Infrastructure
• Project Management - take the lead in managing special projects while ensuring they meet strategic business requirements and were completed on time and within budget constraints
• Client Relationship Management

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field
• 5+ years of experience in related field
• Experience in information technology space and leading IT Development teams 
• Strong Project Management experience
• Excellent analytical skills
• Interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong influencing and driving skills
