    POSITION SUMMARY

    • We are seeking a highly-skilled IT Manager with a storied history in the technological sector. IT Managers are tasked with making decisive IT decisions on behalf of the company, including managing a IT department budget and making investments to align the company with its vision for its technological needs. You should be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, and an expert in technological development.
    • You will work directly under the CEO and will act as both a technology and business expert, making decisions that will impact the current and future operations of the company. You will have a team of 55 people, 5 IT projects and 3 sections (Network Engineer, IT Support and System Security) under your leadership.

    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

    •         Ensuring that technological resources meet the company’s short and long-term needs.
    •         Creating timelines for the development and deployment of all technological services.
    •         Acting as a mentor to team members.
    •         Managing IT staff by recruiting and training employees, communicating job expectations, and monitoring performance.
    •         Maintaining a consumer-focused outlook and aiding in the delivery of IT projects to market.
    •         Managing technology budgets and time frames.
    •         Staying on top of technology trends and developments.
    •         Ensuring all technology practices adhere to regulatory standards.
    •         Monitoring daily operations, including server hardware, software, and operating systems.
    •         Coordinating technology installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
    •         Selecting and purchasing new and replacement hardware and software, when necessary.
    •         Testing, troubleshooting, and modifying information systems so that they operate effectively.
    •         Generating performance reports for operating systems.
    •         Evaluating technology risks in order to develop a network disaster recovery plan and backup procedures.
    •         Remaining up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices.
    •         Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures
    •         Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
    •         Act in alignment with user needs and system functionality to contribute to organizational policy
    •         Identify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in time
    •         Audit systems and assess their outcomes

    Preserve assets, information security and control structures

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    •         Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
    •         MBA preferred.
    •         10 years working in a technological role.
    •         5 years of managerial experience.
    •         Minimum 5 years in enterprise software conception, development, management and upgrading.
    •         Advanced technological skillset and a demonstrated history with technology.
    •         Advanced cloud computing knowledge
    •         Advanced software development skills
    •         Exceptional team management skills.
    •         Excellent verbal and written communication.
    •         Ability to delegate efficiently.
    •         Extensive industry knowledge with an eye towards the future.
