Infrastructure Manager at LexisNexis

The Job

This position will effectively manage a local team, high-pressure decisions, interact with IT groups and communicate with senior management. The position will also manage a technical staff that performs a wide range of general and specialized critical infrastructure duties including preventative maintenance, retrofits, software and hardware upgrades, and emergency repairs. The role ensures technical and operational evaluations of equipment supporting a highly available data center environment.
Additionally, this position develops the overall facility's annual budget and provides cost analysis for retrofits and/or upgrades consistent with annual operational and capital expenditures.

Requirements:

• At least 10 years’ experience in IT Infrastructure
• Extensive knowledge of protocols, standards, and technologies used in different IT Infrastructure stack models (On-prem, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS)
• Advanced skills and experience in VMware products and solutions (ESXi, vCenter, SRM, vSphere Replication, vSAN, NSX-T, vRealize Suite)
• Extensive experience in designing, implementing, managing and maintaining enterprise class servers, storage, networks and security
• Leading and managing Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery
• Thorough knowledge and experience with Windows and Linux server administration
• Backup/Recovery solutions (Veeam, Commvault or equivalent)
• Good knowledge of VoiP systems
• Conversant with Power Shell scripting
• Understanding of ITIL practices
• Monitoring systems
• Experience working in a team-oriented and collaborative environment
• Team management and mentoring
• Azure / AWS beneficial
