Job Description

• The Innovation and Technology Graduate position will develop core skills in the areas outlined below by undertaking the required on-the-job training, by assisting Innovation & Technology Analyst with different Admin-related tasks to obtain valuable on-the-job experience.

Requirements

• Grade 12 certificate
• Bachelor’s degree: IT / Industrial Engineering or Accounting
• Some knowledge of Continuous Improvement/ Business Analysis / System Development or Processes Modelling and standards.
• Computer Literate in MS office package is essential.
• Must be joining an Internship/ Graduate Program for the first time.
• May be rotated between different departments as part of the training
• Code 8 Driver's License and own vehicle
• Clear Criminal Record
• Medically fit

Duties and Responsibilities

Please note the tasks outlined below will be performed under the guidance and supervision of the applicable trainer, until such a time the candidate is signed off as fully competent in all areas:

• Enterprise Architecture: Use and make recommendations regarding the Enterprise Framework and Methodology for VKB
• Ensure Process Analysis and Design for Execution
• Data Analysis: Identify areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes
• Set up and maintain automated data processes
• Prepare reports for internal and external audiences using business analytics reporting tools
• Project Management: Develop Project Management Processes and Policies
• Initiate the project, check feasibility and work out budgets, teams and resources
• Report regularly to management and the client
• Business Analysis: Use data modelling practices to analyse your findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes
• Support Developers in making your recommended changes, including helping to resolve any issues
• Industrial Engineering: Ensure continuous Improvement
• Analyse and Understand the VKB Facilities
• Communicate with Business to understand the needs of departments and the organisation as a whole
• Innovation: Continuously develop innovation practices and ideation funnel. Support the Group’s vision and strategic plan for digital platforms. Foster a culture of collaboration and innovation
• Research: Perform research on topics that include but are not limited to: Industry best practices, market trends, technologies
• Identify how the research will impact the Group
• Document and store research for future reference
