Integration/ETL Lead at Absa

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide technical development expertise and management including, Jitterbit, ETL, AWS and Salesforce Platform.

• Ability to technically lead complex projects throughout the complete IT lifecycle (Analysis, Architecture, Design, Build, Test & Production).

• Developing and implementing integration standards, frameworks and patterns in support of the current environment.

• Collect, analyse and review the business requirements specifications and use cases.

• Manage the solution design throughout the project life-cycle through to deployment, ensuring that any defects are identified and resolved throughout the process.

• Design end-to-end IT solutions for projects, integrating multiple systems and ensuring that designs adhere to agreed design standards and methods.

• Provide technical leadership on projects, managing application designers to ensure the coherency of end-to-end designs.

• Manage the implementation of a cloud integration platform and manage the migration from legacy integration solutions.

• Sharing knowledge with team members and developing solutions efficiently.

• Mentoring other team members on the Jitterbit technical standards.

• Experience and capability of leading IT technologies.

• Manage the solution design throughout the project life-cycle through to deployment, ensuring that any defects are identified and resolved throughout the process.

• Maintaining a strong working knowledge of released products and taking responsibility for identifying product improvements.

• Self-motivated, team player with ability to work independently.

• Follow development and release management procedures, including documentation, CAB presentations and collaborating with operations team

• AWS/Salesforce cloud experience pertaining to integration.

Desired Experience:

• 10+ years integration experience.

• Experience at a senior level in a Integration & Data Specialist.

• TOGAF and Jitterbit certified.

• Product knowledge of Jitterbit, AWS and Salesforce.

• Databases: Oracle, MSSQL, MySQL, Postgres;

• XML, XSD, XSLT, JSON, REST, SOAP, SFTP and SOQL.

• Methodologies: Agile Scrum, Kanban, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), Real Time Integration and APIs.

Education

Bachelor's Degree: Information Technology
