Intermediate Project Manager – OneStream at Salt South Africa

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the end-to-end project delivery for an FP&A platform (preferably OneStream) within a retail finance environment.
• Coordinate project timelines, resources, and stakeholder communication across business and technical teams.
• Work closely with finance stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the system aligns with financial planning, forecasting, and reporting needs.
• Liaise with software vendors, external consultants, and IT teams to ensure successful implementation and integration.
• Drive project governance and ensure alignment to best practices, budget, and timelines.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to keep the project on track.
• Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing), data migration activities, and change management initiatives.

Requirements:

• 3-6 years of project management experience, ideally within finance systems or FP&A projects.
• Hands-on experience managing projects involving OneStream, SAP BPC, or Workday Adaptive Planning.
• Strong understanding of FP&A processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience working in a retail or fast-paced business environment is highly advantageous.
• Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders and bridge the gap between business and technology teams.
• Solid project planning, risk management, and delivery tracking skills.
