Internship at University of the Witwatersrand

Brief Description        
Requirements:

• At least an honours degree with 2 years clinical experience.
• Evidence of tutoring at undergraduate and postgraduate (honours) level
• Knowledge and skill in using scientific equipment and techniques for best practice clinical biokinetics and/or exercise/sports science
• Offering biokinetics rehabilitation services to patients.
• Offering individual and group exercise classes for rehabilitation, including strength, aerobic and aquatherapy
• Evidence of interpersonal and managerial skills and sufficient academic and professional standing to command the respect and confidence of members of the Department and Faculty.
• Responsibilities will inter alia include clinical Biokinetics for patients and clients, with teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate students, intern supervision and involvement in the planning of innovative teaching
• programmes, promotion, supervision and conducting research, and attending academic and administrative meetings.
• The incumbent will report directly to the Head of Department.
• Remuneration is dependent on qualifications and experience.
