Intern: Class Assistant (2 Year Contract) (Part-Time) at Curro Holdings Ltd

Key performance areas

• Assist with the planning, preparation and implementation of age-appropriate learning activities under the guidance of the class teacher.
• Support the supervision, care and wellbeing of learners while promoting a safe, nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
• Assist with classroom organisation, learning resources, daily routines and general administrative duties as required.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to ensure the effective running of the classroom and preschool.
• Attend meetings, training sessions, workshops and school activities as required, while demonstrating professionalism and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications, experience and skills

• Class Assistant Intern for the preschool for 3 to 5 year olds.
• Teaching Diploma NQF6.
• CAPS experience. 
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Must have sober habits.
• A clear criminal record.
