As a minimum a National Diploma or Advanced Certificate in Accounting/ Auditing or equivalent NQF 6 qualification. As a minimum two (2) years’ relevant experience in risk-based auditing. A postgraduate degree or a professional qualification/ designation such as Internal Audit Technician or Professional Internal Auditor or General Internal Auditor or Certified Internal Auditor or Chartered Accountant will be an added advantage.
DUTIES :
Identify and collect information relevant to the activity under review, the audit objectives and audit scope, document the system description and assist with the identification of risk and related controls that address risk. Provide input into the drafting of auditing programs. Execute approved audit programs. Manage the performance of assigned work within the required timeframe and budget. Document audit findings, including appropriate root cause identification and recommendations and assist/support with the discussions of the findings. Ensure that work performed fully complies with the GIAS and Quality Assurance Improvement Program of the unit. Respond to coaching notes. Keep time records. Give guidance to junior team members. Perform PMDS requirements.
