This role offers the opportunity to steer a large Telesales team, fostering growth and excellence at a senior level, with significant scope for influence and career advancement.
Duties:
Develop and implement the internal sales strategy on an annual basis.
Manage and motivate a sizable Telesales team, setting targets, monitoring performance, and providing ongoing training and mentorship.
Analyse sales data to evaluate product performance and identify opportunities for growth.
Oversee the daily management of back-order reports and monitor returns with proactive measures to reduce them.
Coordinate and execute promotional campaigns to boost sales.
Drive the team to deliver outstanding customer experiences that foster satisfaction, loyalty, and care.
Cultivate cross-functional collaboration to ensure effective communication and impactful results.
Manage free stock, clawbacks, and handle escalated customer queries.
Requirements:
Grade 12 qualification.
Minimum of 10 years' experience in sales and/or telesales.
At least 5 years in a managerial capacity.
Proficiency in MS Excel and Word.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
Ability to analyse data and plan strategically.
Knowledge of organisational psychology is advantageous.
Nice to Have:
Experience within the pet care or pharmaceutical industry.
