    Internal Sales Representative

    • A well-established water treatment company is seeking a dedicated Internal Sales Representative to be responsible for managing client relationships and sales operations, including responding to queries, processing orders, achieving targets, and driving business growth.

    Minimum requirements for the role:

    • Must have a National Senior Certificate; A tertiary qualification in the relevant field will be advantageous 
    • Minimum 3–5 years’ demonstrable experience in sales within technical services, manufacturing, engineering, environmental services, or water treatment
    • Prior experience in water treatment and water treatment equipment is advantageous
    • Must have strong customer service focus and proven ability to meet targets
    • Excellent knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly
    • Good organizational, prioritization, and time management skills
    • Must have a solid understanding of the sales process and dynamics

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:

    • Serving as the face to internal and external partners.
    • Responding to client queries, both operational and technical, quickly and professionally.
    • Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients to expand product range and sales opportunities.
    • Preparing quotations, processing orders, and managing invoices accurately and efficiently.
    • Achieving sales quotas and goals while supporting performance decisions with data.
    • Presenting, promoting, and selling products/services using strong product knowledge and arguments.
    • Maintaining detailed sales records and providing reports on customer needs, market activity, and potential new products/services.
    • Reaching out to prospective clients through cold calling and other lead-generation activities.
