Job Description
- A leading company in the consumer goods and distribution sector is looking for an International Purchasing amp; Customs Entry Clerk to join their team.
Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric required.Relevant qualification in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Imports/Exports or a related field will be advantageous.
- 2–4 years’ experience in international purchasing, imports, customs or a similar role.
- Practical experience with customs entries and import documentation.
- Experience dealing with international suppliers and freight forwarders.
- Strong understanding of the import and customs process.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Experience working on an ERP or purchasing system will be advantageous.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A proactive approach with the ability to follow up effectively with suppliers and service providers.
