Creation and co-ordination of Video Entertainment Business Plans during the various stages of the Business Plan value chain. (from initiation to broadcast)
Maintain and update electronic filing system for all business plans in their various stages of completion.
Optimising of the business plan process to ensure that business plans are finalised within the required time frames.
Request information from various business units for the completion and approval of business plans.
Co-ordinate business plan requirements for various internal committee meetings in terms of supplementary documentation.
Ensure that all supporting documentation for approved business plans are handed over to the contracting department.
Perform ad hoc duties upon the manager’s request
Liaise with internal Stakeholders by maintaining an effective, professional interface at all times.
Track, inform and provide solutions to internal stakeholders to alleviate bottle necks.
Constant updates to relevant stakeholders regarding the status of the business plan progress
Handle all business process related queries with internal stakeholders promptly and accurately.
Liaise with the Company Secretary’s office regarding the Business Plans that go to Group Executive Committee and SABC Board for Approvals
Quality check that provided documents are compliant with the requirements stated in the SABC Supply chain management policy and Preferential procurement policy framework act (PPPFA).
Check and ensure documents adhere to the organisation Broadcasting Regulatory provisions.
Adhere to the organisation’s quality and production standards
Assist in the review and suggest any possible changes in regards of the Business Co-ordination Standard Operating Procedure. (SOP)
Adhere and comply with the organisation’s policies and procedures
At least 2 years’ experience in business administration.
Exposure to project management.
Experience in problem solving in a corporate environment.
Understanding of the Broadcasting Act, PPPFA,PFMA and national treasury requirements.
Understanding of all internal policies etc. DAF, SCM and other operating procedures.
Project management.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Ms Project.
Proficiency in digital workflow. (SAP knowledge)
Excellent Written, oral communication and presentation skills.
Excellent time management skills.
REQUIREMENTS
National Diploma in Business Administration / Communications /Media Studies or related (NQF 6)
Project Management Certification will be advantageous
Administrative functions in a broadcasting environment will be an advantage
Exposure to project management.
Experience in problem solving in a corporate environment.
Understanding of the Broadcasting Act, PPPFA,PFMA and national treasury requirements.
Understanding of all internal policies etc. DAF, SCM and other operating procedures.
Project management.
Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Ms Project.
Proficiency in digital workflow. (SAP knowledge)
Excellent Written, oral communication and presentation skills.
