    Internship Corporate Affairs and Marketing x3

    Purpose

    • The purpose of this 12 months graduate programme is to provide support to the Corporate Affairs and Marketing Division to ensure successful implementation of business initiatives or programmes that meet SABC's objectives.

    About the Team

    • The Corporate Affairs and Marketing Team drive awareness, acquisition, and retention thorough the launch of multifunctional go-to brand marketing strategies for promotion of the brand/business within the respective markets. Provide an effective and efficient support service to the Foundation Department, the Division as well as to external stakeholders and customers in compliance with standard operating procedures, policies and legislation

    Responsibilities:

    Support the implementation of the Internal Communications strategy.
    Implement the Internal Communications operational plan.

    • Provide support and input in the development and implementation of business units’ internal strategies.
    • Ensures that all events are well co-ordinated and managed.
    • Ensures that there is a monitoring and evaluation system.
    • Enhances SABC’s image in its various communities through Corporate Citizenship
    • Ensure that SABC CSI efforts attract media attention as a unique and innovative corporate citizen
    • Travel booking
    • Organising Conferences
    • Minute taking
    • Coordinate meetings
    • Accurately arrange meetings on behalf of the Head: Region
    • Timeous and accurate preparation and management of documentation
    • Effective management of the office environment to ensure that everything is in working order

     INHERENT/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • National Diploma or Degree in Marketing /Communication/  Business Administration/Psychology or equivalent qualification (NQF6/7).

    KNOWLEDGE

    • Excellent writing skills
    • Internal Comms software e.g yammer
    • PFMA and relevant national treasury regulations
    • Good communication, interpersonal and presentation skills; and ability to expand relationships.
    • Strong service-orientation, result driven and proactive.
    • Excellent in both English and one other official language.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft office.
