Job Summary

The internship aims to provide newly qualified unemployed graduates an opportunity to gain workplace experience within various business functions, namely:

• Financial Market/Sales
• Cash Operations/Exchange Control

Overview: 

• This opportunity provides the incumbent with a foundation in banking and financial services acumen and gives practical guidance on how to apply their knowledge and skills in the workplace - Combining banking and financial services theory with real-world solutions.

Outcomes:

Upon completion of the internship programme, the incumbent will be able to:

• Identify and solve problems in which responses display that responsible decisions using critical and creative thinking have been made.
• Work effectively with others as a member of a team.
• Organise and manage oneself and activities responsibly and effectively.
• Collect, analyse, organise, and critically evaluate performance.
• Communicate effectively using mathematical and language skills.
• Demonstrate an understanding of the world as a set of related systems by recognising that problem-solving contexts do not exist in isolation; and
• Benefit from full personal development, thus contributing to the social and economic development of South African society at large. 

Requirements:

• South African citizenship.
• Available to start immediately.
• Minimum of a bachelor’s level degree or higher. 
• No work experience required.
• Must currently be unemployed.
• Must have no completed a BANKSETA Internship before.
• Business level English communications skills.
