    Inventory Administrator (Epping)

    Description

    • Fine Chemicals requires the services of a highly competent and experienced Inventory Administrator for the Operations Department.  To qualify for this position, the most suitable candidate must fulfill the following requirements

    Requirements
    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    • Minimum Grade 12/Matric 
    • A formal tertiary qualification in Supply Chain or Warehousing/Inventory Management would be advantageous
    • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Manufacturing, Pharmaceutical, FMCG, or Chemical Industries
    • Experience with inventory management is required.
    • SAP experience in Finance to Report (F2R) and Plan to Produce (PL2PR).
    • Must be computer literate, MS Windows, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
    • Must possess excellent administrative skills and the ability to plan and work logically and systematically.
    • Relevant experience in BPR's and/or Plant operations is preferred.

    BASIC JOB FUNCTIONS (Brief Summary):

    • Capture transactions on the ERP system from hard-copy documents.
    • Process material-specific issues to jobs and job receipts transactions.
    • Capture stock counts.
    • Assist with stock variance investigations and IQV.
    • Assist with the processing of inventory transactions related to production bookings and inventory planning.
    • Liaising with planning regarding job start dates.
    • Release jobs requested by production.
    • Complete all records and reports timeously and accurately as described in the relevant SOP's, protocols, and associated documentation.
    • Comply with GMP requirements as outlined by Company SOP's and written instructions in all tasks and activities.
    • Ensure that products are stored according to the required SOP's and documentation.
    • Ensure all sections within the department maintain compliance with company GMP standards.

    • Must be able to work under pressure and be part of a team or independently
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Be able to communicate with both the senior management team as well as end users in a non-technical manner
    • Ability to work across multiple streams simultaneously
