Inventory Manager at Boxer Superstores

Minimum Requirements    

Qualifications and Skills:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehousing or distribution center operations
• Proficient in working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• A relevant supply chain diploma/degree would be beneficial
• Managerial inventory experience within FMCG is non-negotiable

Desired Qualities:

• Deadline-driven with exceptional time management skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and some management experience

Duties and Responsibilities    

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the replenishment of the pick phase to maintain optimal stock levels
• Monitor aging stock and implement strategies to minimize stock write-offs
• Manage warehouse capacity and optimize storage utilization
• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff
• Monitor staff attendance and address any issues promptly
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback
• Coordinate and deliver training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge
