Job Description

• Inventory Planning and Control: Develop and implement inventory management strategies to achieve business objectives.
• Stock Counts Management – Monitoring execution of Wall-to-wall and periodic cycle counts.
• Inventory Analysis: Analyze inventory data to identify trends, optimize inventory levels, and minimize waste.
• Inventory Management Systems: Configure SAP to meet business requirements and provide guidance on Inventory Management Best Practices.
• Inventory Management Systems: Manage and maintain inventory management systems, including ERP and inventory tracking software.
• Inventory Reporting: Create Dashboards, provide regular inventory reports to management, highlighting trends, issues, and opportunities.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve inventory management processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Training: conduct SAP inventory workshops to ensure team members understand inventory principles, efficient inventory management and control

Required outputs: functional

• Data mining, analysis, modelling and to facilitate decision making.
• Scenario mapping.
• Use various reporting tools and methods to communicate business insights to key stakeholders.
• Maintain the integrity and operational efficiency of the net working capital control tower, proposing enhancements based on continuous data analysis.
• Extract inventory reports to monitor performance and free cash flow for the business.
• Provide necessary training to relevant stakeholders.
• Set targets and measure performance against target.
• Monitor performance against the inventory policy
• Use agile methods to monitor “AS-IS” processes and define “TO-BE’ process
• Standardise processes to ensure best practices are adapted.
• Conduct industry bench marking exercises to improve business processes.
• Set up and configure SAP system.
• Maintenance of Master Data for all materials in the system.
• Monitor data integrity in the SAP system.
• Provide necessary training.
• Aligning business processes to SAP processes.
• Define & set KPI’s for SAP housekeeping and assist with Exceptions monitoring

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Research or equivalent
• 3 – 5 years’ experience within a continuous improvement role and inventory management.
• 3 - 5+ years’ experience of data modelling
• Business Analysis (i.e. both data, process)
• SAP ERP experience within a manufacturing or engineering background.
• Knowledge and application of Process Improvement methodologies.
• Data modelling, analysis and reporting
• Creating dashboards /Scorecards to monitor and report on business performance.
• Stakeholders Management
• Inventory management knowledge
• SAP ECC or S4 HANA
• Power BI and advanced Excel
• Project Management (Agile methodology)
• Six sigma DMAIC
• Data analysis and modelling
