Job Description

Reporting to Irrigation Manager, the Designer will be responsible for the survey of land and the design of irrigation schemes, pumprooms, borehole selection, pipeline design and any other duties required from him/her. To create a complete bill of material and quotations of the designed systems. Negotiations with suppliers for best pricing on materials. Expanding the current client base of NTK Irrigation.

Requirements

• Grade 12/ NQF4
• Valid Driver's Licence
• Minimum 7-year's experience in a similar role
• Experience of Survey equipment (CHC NAV / TRIMBLE)
• Experience of Model Maker, AutoCAD, and IrriCAD
• Computer Literate in MS Office package with advanced MS Excel skills
• Member of SABI will be an advantage
• Any Tertiary education will be benefitable (SABI IRRIGATION COURSES)
• Good knowledge of Plant and Soil science will be an advantage
