IT Account Manager (JB4065) - JHB at Kontak Recruitment

Minimum Requirements:

• 8 or more years of Account Management experience specific to IT.
• Proven track record of growing business within a customer base.
• Product knowledge required: Cybersecurity, Hosting, Cloud, 365, IT managed Services, LAN infrastructure, Voice, ISP services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Daily management of client accounts to ensure continued business.
• Continuously demonstrate the value of products and services to clients.
• Build long-term relationships based on trust, respect, and value.
• Effective communication with clients to understand needs and convey product/service details.
• Primary contact for customer account matters; adept at contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing to exceed client expectations.
• Maintain detailed client account notes and inventory records.
• Analyse customer behaviour data for actionable insights.
• Advocate for client needs to enhance the buying experience.
• Identify upsell, renewal, and cross-selling opportunities.
• Showcase in-depth knowledge of company products/services.
• Stay informed on industry trends for improved customer satisfaction.
• Promptly resolve customer issues to prevent escalation.
• Formulate strategies to meet evolving customer needs.
